PAINTINGS FROM ABOVE

This series was born out of a challenge I gave myself whilst slightly drunk one evening. I was attempting to navigate my way back home. My gaze was fixated to the ground, keeping a level of dignity whilst trying to walk in a straight line. I suddenly noticed a step covered in bird shit and realised it looked a bit like paint. I wondered if I could use the laws of composition and colour to turn something gross into a work of art…
